Offshore wind is an opportunity to take the work we’ve done for over 100 years as a skilled trade and put it on a national stage. To be able to put our members to work in building these things, it’s truly a win.  If it’s putting people to work and people can have a sustainable, living wage, and it also helps the environment and helps with our energy demands — why wouldn’t you do it?
