Make Polluters Pay: why California is suing Big Oil

California just announced that it’s suing Big Oil for climate damages. With the largest state economy in the United States, this is huge news and an enormous step in the fight to hold polluters accountable and end fossil fuels.

In the wake of this news out of California, the #MakePollutersPay campaign is showing support for California–and all states and cities across the country–that are working to hold Big Oil accountable.
